Immortal is a fairly late tier 2 unit and quite expensive as well. It is not worth the mineral if this just dragoon with extra armor. Does its attack consider as tier 3 damage?

Immortal currently requires Twilight council and is bulit from Robotics faciilty: the tier level is similar to Templar, a 2nd tier unit except having it buliding from robotic facility instead of gateway make you think it is a step further down the tech tree.

Travis is incorrect (probably just out of date).

The immortal is a tier 2 unit requiring only a Robotics Facility as seen here:
